 Within the A. E. Harris (Birmingham UK) tube bending cell, enthusiastic staff operate the latest tube bending systems and utilise all of the equipment at their finger tips to produce a growing variety of forms and assemblies.
Our tube bending cell is equipped with a CNC controlled Addison Tube manipulator, handling tube diameters between 6 and 42mm (2mm max wall thickness) Max C/line radii of 150.0mm and an axis accuracy of +/- 0.1 degrees (or 0.1 linear). Max bend arm movement 193mm and length over mandrel of 3000mm This machine has the capacity to be set up for draw, mandrel, compression or knuckle type bends
The tube bending cell is also equipped with power presses and a welding section to facilitate high speed manufacture of integrated assemblies.
