 At A. E. Harris our pressing department has some of the latest production equipment. Highly skilled and motivated personnel producing quality presswork in excellent time for you the customer. 
The core business of A. E. Harris is its huge variety of pressed metal components. In addition we continue to offer a complete engineering service to our broad customer base.
With over 50 presses ranging from hand presses, through to conventional power presses up to 300 tonnes capacity to state of the art CNC controlled presses from 200 to 500 tonnes capacity. (For details of the CNC presses see chart below).
Our progression tooling fed by either roll or air feeds, handle coils up to 2.5 tonnes max in weight.
Secondary operations are carried out on both conventional and light
 guarded presses, plus we also have the facility to produce a range of deep drawn components.
Add to the above our other in-house capabilities and subcontract finishing processes and the
"Complete Engineering Solution" becomes clear.
